Material surface contamination:

During the working process of fiber laser welding machine, the cleanliness of the material surface is very important. Solution:

1. Before welding with fiber laser welding machine, use dust-free cloth and alcohol to clean the welding surface.

2. For materials with thick oxide layer, grinding or pickling can be carried out first.

3. The working environment should be clean to reduce dust pollution.

Welding speed is too fast:

Many operators mistakenly believe that the faster the welding speed, the higher the efficiency. However, if the welding speed is too fast, the interaction time between the laser and the material is reduced, and the molten pool cannot be fully formed, which affects the welding firmness.

Solution:

1. Adjust the appropriate welding speed according to the thickness and characteristics of the material.

2. For thick materials or high reflectivity materials, appropriately reduce the welding speed for full fusion.

3. Combined with welding parameter testing, find the welding speed range of the fiber laser welding machine.

Data analysis: In 40% of welding failure cases, the fiber laser welding machine's welding speed is too fast, which is the main reason, resulting in a decrease in welding firmness of about 30%.

 

The welding power of the fiber laser welding machine does not match the material:

The power of the fiber laser welding machine needs to match the thickness and type of the material. Different materials of the same thickness have different abilities to absorb lasers. If the power is too low, the melting is insufficient; if the power is too high, it May cause burn-through or deformation.

Solution:

1. Reasonably adjust the power and welding speed of the laser welding machine for different materials (such as highly reflective metals).

Unstable workbench and fixture:

During the welding process of the fiber laser welding machine, if the material is not firmly fixed, it May cause uneven welds, misalignment or cold welds. Therefore, reasonable fixture design and a stable workbench are key factors to ensure welding quality.

Solution:

1. Use professional fixtures to fix the workpiece so that no displacement occurs during welding.

2. Use appropriate clamping methods, such as magnetic fixation, mechanical clamping or pneumatic clamps.

3. For workpieces with complex shapes, special fixtures can be customized.

Data analysis: In 25% of welding failure cases, unstable fixtures are the main problem, resulting in a decrease in welding firmness by about 35%.
