1. Perform regular inspections. For example, check whether the cooling fan rotates smoothly when the welding machine is powered on; whether there is abnormal vibration, sound and smell; whether there is gas leakage; whether the joints and insulation wrapping of the welding wire are loose or peeled off; whether the welding cable and each connection part have abnormal heating phenomena, etc.

2. Since the welding machine is forced to cool, it is easy to inhale dust from the surrounding and accumulate in the machine. Therefore, we can regularly use clean and dry compressed air to blow away the dust inside the welding machine. In particular, the gaps between the transformer, the reactor coil and the coil rolls, and the power semiconductors should be cleaned.

3. Regularly check the connection parts of the power wiring. Check whether the connection screws of the input side, output side terminals, external wiring connection parts, internal wiring connection parts, etc. are loose. If rusted, remove the rust to make the contact and conductivity good.

4. Long-term use of the welding machine will inevitably cause the shell to deform due to contact, rust and damage, and the internal parts will also be worn out. Therefore, during the annual maintenance and inspection, comprehensive repair work such as replacement of defective parts, repair of the shell and reinforcement of the insulation deterioration parts should be implemented. 1. Regularly check and replace the conductive nozzle:

Due to the wear of the conductive nozzle, the aperture becomes larger, which will cause arc instability, deterioration of the weld appearance or wire sticking (burnback); the end of the conductive nozzle is stuck with splashes, and the wire feeding will become uneven; the conductive nozzle is not tightened, and the threaded connection will heat up and weld dead. 

2. Regularly clean and replace the spring hose:

After long-term use, the spring hose will accumulate a lot of iron powder, dust, welding wire plating chips, etc., which will make the wire feeding unstable. Therefore, regular cleaning is very important. You can curl it and tap it gently to shake off the accumulation, and then blow it off with compressed air. The oil stains on the hose should be washed with a brush in oil, and then blown clean with compressed air. If the spring hose is wrong or seriously deformed and bent, it is necessary to replace it with a new hose. When changing the tube, make sure that it is suitable for the diameter and length of the welding wire used, and there should be no burrs on the cut surface.

3. Check the insulating ferrule:

If the insulating ferrule is removed for welding, the spatter will adhere to the inside of the nozzle and make the nozzle and the live part conductive. The welding gun may burn due to a short circuit. At the same time, in order to make the shielding gas flow out evenly, the insulating ferrule must be installed.

The purity of cooling water is the key to ensuring the output efficiency of the laser and the life of the laser focusing cavity components. The conductivity of the internal circulating water should be checked once a week during use to ensure that its conductivity is 30.5MW·cm. The deionized water in the internal circulation must be replaced once a month, and the conductivity of the newly injected pure water must be 32MW·cm. Pay attention to the color changes of the ion exchange column in the cooling system at any time. Once the color of the resin in the exchange column is found to be dark brown or even black, the resin should be replaced immediately.
