Laser cutting machines are becoming increasingly widely used in the industrial sector.  Based on their high-temperature principle, they are used to process the surface of materials, which are fed into the machine to meet customer needs. However, some people don't know how to adjust the optical path when using a laser machine. Below, we will introduce the method for adjusting the optical path of a laser cutting machine.

 

Normal Optical Path Adjustment:

1. The laser beam emitted from the laser tube should be directed onto the first mirror.

2. The light reflected from the first mirror should be at the center of the second mirror. (If not, adjust the three screws behind the first mirror. One screw adjusts the laser's left-right direction, another adjusts the up-down direction, and the middle screw adjusts the center point.  It's generally best not to adjust the middle screw.)

3. Similarly, the light emitted from the second mirror should be at the center of the third mirror. If not, adjust the three screws behind the second mirror using the same method as above.

4. For the previously adjusted settings, place a piece of paper at the laser head's output. Check if the emitted laser is at the center of the paper. If not, adjust the three screws on the laser head using the same method as above, until the light is emitted from the center of the laser head's aperture.

Vertical Optical Path Adjustment:

1. Place a 10mm thick acrylic sheet on the machine's worktable, then cut a 20x15mm rectangle. Observe the perpendicularity of the cut (or directly use a dot-shooting method to observe the perpendicularity).

2. If the emitted light is deflected left or right, adjust the height of the laser tube. If the emitted light is deflected forward or backward, adjust the front and back position of the laser tube base. If the light deflection is not very obvious, only slight adjustments are needed until the light is perpendicular in all directions.
